Four bands.
Different rules.

Keep the low end grounded while everything above it moves. Each band has its own glitch depth and clean anchor, with adjustable crossovers between them.

SUB / Foundation

Let the floor stay solid.

Preserve the fundamental while the upper bands fracture. The sub starts fully protected, so you choose when the foundation moves.

Give the groove a new shape.

Reshape the body of a kick, bass or loop with repeated and displaced fragments. Balance the movement with the original signal.

Put the fracture in focus.

Make the midrange stutter, jump and reverse. Direct the disruption into the attack and texture while leaving the foundation under control.

Each Pulse can build entropy. Set its rise, decay and ceiling, then couple it to Chaos and Order for movement that accumulates and settles.

What is PULSAR?

PULSAR is a temporal audio effect in development. It reshapes incoming sound with repeat, reverse, freeze, pitch and corruption effects, with four-band control and ways to preserve the source.

Can I buy or download it?

There is no public release or checkout yet. Development builds are not release candidates. Pricing, release timing and supported release platforms will be announced when they are confirmed.

Does this website process audio?

Yes. The playable demo runs the shared PULSAR audio engine in your browser, with the same controls as the standalone app. Open AUDIO and choose a local file or the quiet test tone, then press PULSE. Your files stay on your device.

Which formats are being developed?

The browser demo is playable here. Standalone and VST3 development targets use the same interface and native audio engine. Final release platforms and DAW compatibility are still being validated.

Can the low end stay clean?

Yes. Four-band processing provides independent glitch depth and clean anchors. The SUB band is fully protected by default, and the crossover frequencies are adjustable.

Is everything in the concept image available?

No. The artwork shows the design direction. Advanced DNA breeding and free routing remain previews; capture/export and live input are not included in the current development scope.
